Michael Soo was a BMB graduate student. In 2007, Mike graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Chemistry and Political Science. Besides science, Mike likes photography, bonsai, cooking, the Phillies, the Eagles, craft beer, independent music, and vintage workwear. Mike defended his Ph.D. thesis 'Potentiated Hsp104 variants suppress the toxicity of most overexpressed dosage-sensitive yeast genes' in September, 2016.
